Early Eskimo text messaging. This particular cartouche reads: "I shot you through the heart, and you will now die a slow, numbing death." The good-luck horseshoe symbol was probably added at a later date by Eskimos who had been exposed to Western culture, as early Eskimos were unfamiliar with horses.

(Damn you, Fred, you took the cap I was going to use originally and made me think up that ridiculous one!)
